Battle It Out is a place for creators to compete and for the crowd to decide. These guidelines apply to videos, battles, comments, messages, profiles, and votes. Breaking them can get content removed or an account suspended.
1. Age
You must be at least 13. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it. Do not create an account for a child under 13, and report accounts you believe belong to children under 13.
2. Music and other peopleâs content
Upload only video you made, with audio you have the right to use. Original audio is always allowed. Licensed audio is allowed. Commercial songs, movie or TV clips, sports broadcasts, and someone elseâs performance are not allowed unless you have permission.
Lip-sync, dance, and comedy battles still need rights to the audio in the clip. If you do not have those rights, record original audio or compete without the commercial track. We will remove clips that use unlicensed commercial music or stolen video.
3. Compete fairly
- Do not buy, fake, or coordinate fake votes
- Do not spam challenges, comments, or messages
- Do not report people just to knock them out of a battle
- Do not impersonate another creator or brand
4. Do not post
- Sexual content involving anyone 17 or under, or any sexual exploitation
- Pornography or graphic sexual content
- Hate speech or content that attacks people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar traits
- Credible threats, harassment, stalking, or bullying
- Graphic violence, animal cruelty, or dangerous acts that could get someone seriously hurt
- Illegal activity, including drug sales or weapons sales
- Private information about someone else (address, phone number, school, or similar)
5. How to report
Use Report on a video, battle, or profile. Choose the closest reason. We also read email sent to support@battleitout.app with the subject Report.
6. What happens if you break the rules
We may remove the content, warn you, limit features, suspend the account, or ban it. Severe harm (child sexual content, credible threats, or under-13 accounts) is removed as soon as we confirm it. Repeat copyright violations can lead to a ban.
